About PEEF

PEEF, the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, was established in 2008 by the Punjab Government to empower talented but financially disadvantaged students. Incorporated under Section 42 of the Companies Act, PEEF is funded via an endowment exceeding PKR 17 billion, awarding only the returns—ensuring sustainability.

Since its launch, PEEF has granted over 475,000 scholarships worth more than PKR 30 billion, addressing educational equity and striving to uplift students from marginalized backgrounds. Major categories include merit, need, and reserved quotas for orphans, minorities, disabled individuals, and children of martyrs.

Eligibility Criteria for PEEF Scholarships

  • Intermediate / Undergraduate / Master’s / MPhil
    Pursue full-time studies in Govt/private institution; 60% minimum marks or CGPA 2.5+; Punjab domicile (special quota extends to AJK, GB, FATA, ICT); household income PKR 60,000/month (23,000 for intermediate/grad; 37,000 for master’s); not receiving other aid; special quotas available.
  • International PhD Scholarships
    Punjab domicile; valid admission in QS‑top 50 university; ≥ 60% marks historically; family income ≤ PKR 200,000/month; maximum age 35; no prior foreign scholarship usage; timely enrollment required.
