Preparation Guide & Syllabus

PU Admission Test Syllabus

The test is divided into different categories (Pre-Medical, Engineering, ICS, Arts, etc.). The general pattern follows:

  • Verbal Reasoning (English): 20%
  • Quantitative Reasoning (Maths): 20%
  • Subject Knowledge (Physics/Chem/Bio/Comp etc.): 60%2

Top Study Tips:

  • Focus on Textbooks: The 60% subject portion comes directly from PTB (Punjab Textbook Board) Inter books.

Merit Formula:

$$\text{Merit} = (1/4 \text{ Matric Marks}) + \text{Inter Marks} + \text{Additional Marks}$$

  • Additional Marks: 20 Marks are added if you are a Hafiz-e-Quran.
