The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is Pakistan’s premier law enforcement agency, responsible for border control, cybercrime, and anti-corruption. Unlike provincial police, FIA officers operate nationwide and enjoy superior power and federal benefits.

For 2026, the recruitment is divided into two categories: Executive Posts (Inspector/AD) hired through FPSC, and Ministerial Posts (Constable/Clerk) hired directly.

FIA Vacancies List

The jobs are split into two streams. You can apply for both if eligible.

Executive Wing (FPSC Hires):

Eligibility Criteria (Post-Wise)

Candidates must meet both educational and physical standards to qualify for uniform and non-uniform roles within the agency.

Academic & Age Requirements

Physical Standards (For Uniformed Posts)

These standards are mandatory for field positions like Inspector, SI, ASI, and Constable.

Height:

• Male: Minimum 5 Feet 6 Inches.
• Female: Minimum 5 Feet 4 Inches.

Chest (Male only): 32.5 x 34 Inches (must have expansion).

Running Test:

• Male: 1.6 KM in 7 Minutes.
• Female: 1.6 KM in 10 Minutes.

Nationality & Domicile

• Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of Pakistan.
• Domicile: Applicants must possess a valid domicile of the province they are applying from to meet specific regional quotas.

Salary & Benefits (The “FIA Allowance”)

FIA employees receive a special 20% Investigation Allowance on top of their basic pay, making their salaries higher than standard government jobs.

• Assistant Director (BPS-17): ~PKR 85,000 – 110,000
• Inspector (BPS-16): ~PKR 60,000 – 75,000
• Constable (BPS-05): ~PKR 35,000 – 42,000

Selection Process (Step-by-Step)

• Written Test:
  • FPSC: 100 Marks MCQ (English, GK, Math, Current Affairs).
  • Direct: Departmental MCQs.
• Physical Test: Mandatory for Constable to Assistant Director.
• Psychometric Test: To check mental stability.
• Interview: The final hurdle.

There are two different portals depending on the job. Don’t apply on the wrong one!

• For Inspector / Assistant Director:
  1. Visit www.fpsc.gov.pk.
  2. Download the Challan Form and pay the fee (PKR 300).
  3. Apply online under “General Recruitment.”
• For Constable / ASI:
  1. Visit jobs.fia.gov.pk (FIA Web Portal).
  2. Register your profile.
  3. No fee is usually charged for these lower-grade posts.
