Exam Syllabus & Pattern (300 Marks)
The selection process has two phases: Physical Test (Screening) and Written Exam. You must pass the physical test to sit for the papers.
Written Exam Breakdown:
- Urdu / English Essay & Comprehension: 75 Marks
- General Knowledge / Current Affairs: 50 Marks
- Basic Computer Skills (MS Office): 50 Marks
- Psychological Test: (Qualifying Nature)

Is there any age relaxation for ASI jobs in KP Police?
No. As per the advertisement, the age limit is strictly 18 to 25 Years. There is no general age relaxation for Executive Cadre police jobs, even for higher qualifications.
Can I apply if I am waiting for my 2nd Year (HSSC) result?
No. You must have your Result Card / Degree in hand before the closing date of the advertisement. “Hope Certificates” are not accepted.
Which test comes first, Physical or Written?
The Physical Endurance Test (Running & Measurement) is always conducted first. Only candidates who pass the physical test will be issued Roll Number slips for the Written Examination.
Can females from all districts apply?
Yes. Females are encouraged to apply. They have a specific 10% Quota reserved in each region and can also compete on the Open Merit seats if they score high marks.
